Epic Cup Failure and Other Sports Gag Jobs

I was flipping back and forth on the dial yesterday, watching my fantasy football team get smoked, and what I assumed was going to be a walk in the park for the US Ryder Cup team. Of course, we know that walk in the park turned out to be a collapse of monumental proportion.

I blame it on the captain Davis Love III for some bonehead decisions, not the least of which was having one of the greatest head to head players in the game, Tiger Woods, playing last.  The other was having his hottest team of Mickelson and Bradley on the bench Saturday afternoon.  Add to that Furyk and Stricker just not coming through, while Poulter was unbelievable, and the choke was complete.

This ranks right up there with another gigantic  sports choke in 2004, right Yankee fans. Check out some of the other great choke jobs in sports.
