Fireworks, Ferris Wheels and Fun in Greene

The 94th annual Greene Labor Day Picnic is Monday, September 2nd at the ball flats. The day begins at 8 AM with exhibits by area clubs, carnival rides and a chicken barbecue. A 5K run begins at 9 at Lions Park and the parade steps off at 10 AM led by the Greene Marching Band.

There will also be a horse show, children's games, bingo, and of course, lots of great food.  A car show runs from 9-4:30, the antique tractor pull is at 11 and the 9th Annual Lions Club Duck Race is at noon. While the big day is Monday, you can enjoy the rides on the midway Sunday from 1-8PM.

There will also be live music all day, a dance recital and fireworks at 8:45 PM. There will be free bus pick up to and from the ball flats from the Great American parking lot from 11A-6:30P.  Also, don't forget to bring a non-perishable item for the Greene Food Pantry.
