With a "Wind Chill Warning" issued until 9am tomorrow morning from the National Weather Service, that means the threat of frostbite is real and according to the Mayo Clinic, the most vulnerable areas of the body for frostbite are hands, feet, nose and ears.  That means if you're outside, cover up as much as possible and be aware of your body and how it feels.

You may have frostbite if your skin is: white or grayish-yellow, very cold, has a hard or waxy feel to it, itchy skin, feels like it's burning, or feels numb. In cases of severe frostbite, you could see blistering and hardening of the tissue.  As the area warms up, the flesh becomes red and painful.

If you think you have frostbite, get inside immediately and DO NOT RUB THE AFFECTED AREA.  Call your healthcare provider immediately.
