Harvest Dinner and Chicken BBQ in Chenango County

A couple of county organizations will be serving up some good eats over the next couple of weeks. First, a sure sign of the end of the summer season, the final chicken barbecue of the year is Saturday, October 19 at the Elks Lodge in Norwich.  Halves are 6 dollars and dinners 9 dollars. Chicken should be ready by 10 AM.

Friday, October 25th, the Oxford American Legion Fort Hill Post #376 Auxiliary will hold a harvest supper  from 5-7 PM.  Community members are invited to enjoy a great meal of roasted chicken and gravy while supporting the Sally Finch Book and Education Fund to promote literacy.The post is located at 17 S. Washington Avenue in Oxford.
