If you're looking for a relatively easy and chemical-free way to remove paint from your skin, reach for cooking spray.  That's right- cooking spray or even general cooking oil does an amazing job of getting paint off skin with little effort.

  • Apply a liberal amount of cooking spray or oil to your hands.

  • Make sure to really work the oil into your skin. As you do, you'll notice the cooking spray/oil take on the color of the paint that's on your skin.

  • Rinse your hands and apply more oil. If the paint is stubborn, grab an old rag and use it on your skin. You'll want to use a rag you don't care about because the paint color will transfer to it.

  • After all the paint has come off your skin, wash your hands with soap and water until the oily feeling is gone.
