Ithaca, N.Y. Has Surrendered to Mother Nature!

Talk about realists. Ithaca has finally given up, thrown up their hands and waved the white flag of surrender. After suffereing through a brutal winter, even the trouist website that tries to get people to come to Ithaca is now telling people to stop, turn around and head to Florida instead. What a fun twist on the tourism business.

On their homepage for Ithaca tourism they put this notice up:

"That's it. We surrender. Winter, you win. Key West anyone? "Due to this ridiculously stupid winter, Ithaca invites you to go and visit the Florida Keys this week. Please come back when things thaw out. Really, it's for the birds here now.

P.S. Don't forget to send us a postcard!"
