It’s County Fair Season

It is indeed county fair season, and while I always look forward to the Chenango County Fair, this year I am also excited about the Otsego County Fair. Back when the Chenango County Fair seemed a bit more progressive with their event scheduling, we could look forward to Millenia Entertainment's announcement about who was coming to perform.

This year, it's the Otsego County Fair that will bring in some first class entertainment, as Mark Wills will be giving a free show in the entertainment tent the Friday of fair week, and anybody who saw him in Norwich a couple of years ago knows he does a good show, with many top 20 recognizable songs.

It's too bad the Fair Board decided to go the "safe" route with the entertainment this year, as last year's events at the Chenango County Fair were fun, including Andy Griggs' extended show. and especially TNA Wrestling which had people talking for weeks after. Of course, as always, we expect the agricultural exhibits to be first class.
