With Miranda Lambert's latest single "Blue Bird" cracking the Top 10 on country radio, it becomes her first solo Top 10 single since "Automatic" made it to No. 3 way back in 2014.

I know what you're thinking, "that can't be right?" But it is. One of country music's most popular female voices hasn't had a veritable radio hit on over half-of-a-decade. Yeah, she's had a couple of collaborations go Top 10. Her duet with Carrie Underwood "Somethin' Bad" peaked at No. 7 in 2014, and her Jason Aldean duet "Drowns the Whiskey" went to No. 1 a couple years ago.

But the fact that the Texas native has been shutout was shocking to me, shoot I work in country radio and didn't even realize it'd been that long since she's had a "radio hit." Anyway, last week Lambert released an acoustic version of her current hit and we are digging it. Check it out.
