Local Nursing Scholarship Extends Application Deadline
The application deadline for applications to the Dr. Thomas F. Manley Nursing Scholarship/Loan Fund is extended to Wednesday, May 27. According to the Evening Sun the original deadline was last Friday but is extended due to the coronavirus outbreak. Funds are awarded in the terms of a loan, which is automatically forgiven if the recipient practices at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital for one full year after being licensed as an RN.
