Miranda Lambert's latest song from her upcoming album has already been good and leaked. She's played "Tequila Does" live to an adoring audience starting last month, and now the official release is here for fans to enjoy.

"Tequila Does" is, as Lambert describes herself, a classic "honky-tonk song." Indeed, the earthy midtempo tune leans on one of country music's most endearing themes, namely that of the comfort alcohol brings when nothing else (particularly sticky and/or stubborn lovers) will hew to expectations. And it's yet another song in the Lambert catalog that wryly fools around with the tenets of being bad (and ironically self-aware) when times aren't being so good themselves, a sentiment the singer has perfected over her 14-year critically acclaimed career.

"Tequila Does" is written by Lambert's longtime collaborators Jon Randall and Jack Ingram, and it lands at track No. 12 on her upcoming seventh studio album, Wildcardwhich is set for release on Nov. 1. She's shared several other new songs—all of the badass variety—from the project already, including "It All Comes Out in the Wash," "Mess With My Head," "Pretty Bitchin'" and her collaboration with Maren Morris on "Way Too Pretty for Prison."

Lambert is currently on her all-female Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour featuring such acts as Morris, Ashley McBrydeTenille Townes and Elle King through Nov. 23. Her Wildcard Tour hits the road in January 2020.
