Nearly 200 people from the Norwich community and beyond were on hand Sunday, October 6th to celebrate the five year restoration project at the Norwich Jewish Center. The historic building was damaged extensively by local youths five years ago.

Restoration Project Planning Director Jim Fertig told those in attendance that, despite the tragedy, the community came together with great support for the project.

He also thanked volunteers, those who donated financially to the project, community religious leaders and Mayor Maiurano for their support.  The Jewish Center is located on South Broad Street in Norwich.
