Tuesday, July 8th, a Norwich Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on Miller St. in Norwich, and in the course of the stop, found several pieces of crack cocaine in the vehicle. The officer proceeded to arrest 27 year old Conroy F. Robinson of Utica. During the arrest, the subject fought with the officer and a back-up officer who arrived to assist.

Once in custody, it was determined Robinson was on parole from the NY State Prison system. The officer was treated at Chenango Memorial Hospital and released. Robinson was charged with a class B, D and E Felony and Class A Misdemeanor.
