For the first time in nearly 2 decades, the Norwich boys basketball team has won back to back Section 4 titles.  Now they look to overcome the next hurdle and earn a trip to the state tournament in Glens Falls next week end, March 15 and 16.  To do that, they will have to beat the Section 3 champ, Westhill who defeated Skaneateles 63-51 in their  championship game.

The Warriors come into the game ranked 5th in the state at 19-2.  They have won the Section 3 Class B title 3 of the last 4 years and were state champs in 2010.  The Tornado will have to find a way to stop leading scorer Jordan Roland, who enters the game averaging a little under 23 points a game, including 32 three point field goals.

The Warriors and Tornado are scheduled to tip-off at 6:30 Saturday night at Onondaga Community College.  If you can't make it, you can hear the game on AM 970, WCHN.
