With winter now over New York State hands out over $100 million in funding to resurface roads damaged by the severe weather. According to Governor Cuomo's Office, Otsego County gets $1.4 million for work on Routes 7 and 28 while Delaware County will receive nearly $5 million to resurface parts of Route 10, Route 28 and Route 97. Chenango County gets over $2.4 million for Routes 32 and 41. Governor Cuomo’s office says this funding is in addition to $300 million previously committed for repairs to 1,600 lane-miles of state highways.
