NYSEG Begins Power Line Inspections

You may see some low flying helicopters in the area. Its all part of NYSEG's inspection of certain high-voltage power lines.

Work is underway in NYSEG’s Oneonta and Liberty divisions this week. It will move to NYSEG’s Brewster and Binghamton divisions, then to NYSEG’s transmission lines between Homer City, Pennsylvania and Western New York before finishing in the Rochester region.

The work is weather dependent.
