Members of the Norwich Jewish Center are pleased to announce that this Sunday, October 6th from 2-4 PM, the center doors will open to celebrate the dedication of the center Restoration. The restoration project became a necessity on the night of April 9th, 2008 when the center was vandalized and methodically destroyed almost beyond repair by three local youths.

Restoration project leader Jim Fertig joined us in the Big Kat studios Tuesday morning and said the restoration sends a clear message that intolerance, destruction and violence will not be tolerated in the community. Listen to the entire interview with Mr. Fertig below.

The Norwich Jewish Center is located at 72 South Broad Street in Norwich.
