The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce has revealed the results of its business parking survey conducted after the city approved the Dietz St. Artist Lofts project. The Chamber says the respondents represent 45 businesses with a total of over 260 downtown Oneonta employees. It found that businesses want more closer proximity parking, longer duration parking and a parking garage upgrade. The top solution suggestion was to pick a different location for the lofts project followed by not eliminating any parking spaces.

CEO of the Chamber, Barbara Ann Heegan, wrote a letter to Oneonta Mayor Gary Herzig, while submitting the results of the survey as well.  Click here to view the letter.
