It wasn’t much of a contest for the Democratic New York Governor’s primary with Governor Andrew Cuomo easily defeating Cynthia Nixon but she managed to defeat Cuomo in Otsego and Schoharie Counties. Kathy Hochul will be running for re-election as Lieutenant Governor and Letitia James won the Attorney General primary contest. James will be running against Republican Manhattan attorney Keith Wofford in November. Richard Devlin won the Republican Otsego County Sheriff’s Primary over Bob Fernandez but the two will both be on the November ballot as Fernandez is also running as a Democrat.
