The State Department of Agriculture and Markets is asking the operators of all county fairs in New York to discourage the selling or displaying of items that could offend fair goers or pose public safety concerns. Commissioner Richard Ball issued the request last Thursday saying items sold should not run counter to New York’s history of inclusion for all. Delaware County-based Fair For All is urging banning Confederate-flag sales at all fairs.
