As the summer fast approaches, Commerce Chenango heads into the busy season once again with plenty of activities planned for May and June. The 12th annual membership appreciation luncheon for Commerce Chenango is May 15 at Fred’s Inn in Norwich.

Commerce Chenango has announced that its economic development affiliate, Development Chenango Corporation, has been awarded $250,000 to establish a Main Street grant program in the Village of New Berlin.

Commerce Chenango’s Development Chenango has awarded a $20,000 microenterprise grant to Lilly Farms in Smithville Flats. The new tack and feed store opened in September.

Commerce Chenango is currently putting the final touches on its new offices in the middle of downtown Norwich. Jill Eddy, membership and event coordinator for Commerce Chenango, says they are very happy to be in the city and will soon be ready for an open house.
