Chobani, one of team USA's newest sponsors, wanted to bring the community together to cheer on Team USA, so they set up a 40 by 22 foot Jumbo Tron and a large stage  in a field in Columbus. There was lots of food and of course yogurt, live music, and gifts for all attendees...

Despite being eight months pregnant, Nur Suryani Mohammed Taibi of Maylasia finished 34th among the competitors in the women’s 10-meter air rifle event at the Summer Olympics in London on Saturday. Taibi, 29, entered the London Games ranked 47th in the world in the 10-meter air rifle.

After yesterday’s Opening Ceremony, the 2012 Summer Olympics had its first full day of competition on Saturday.

I was just on the site of a National newspaper, and they have a countdown to the summer Olympics.  It was 79 days, 1 hour, and 45 minutes.  I enjoy watching some of the events, but is anybody that anxious that they are counting the minutes till the first equestrian event?...
