The Place and The Artist’s Palette Team Up For Kids

We were joined in the Big Kat studios Monday morning by Rebecca Sands, Executive Director of The Place and Jill Kraft, owner of the Artist's Palette, and they told us about an upcoming event that will benefit The Place and the kids who take part in their programs.  There will be an open house at the Uncorked Lounge in Norwich April 26th where paintings the kids have done with Jill will be displayed, and a silent auction will be held to help raise money for the Place, which has  felt the crunch with recent cut backs in state funding. The evening will feature a cocktail hour, food and music, with pre-sale tickets priced at 30 dollars for the evening.
