Live music is officially back and it sure feels good! One popular country music duo seems to agree.

Thompson Square were headliners at Duluth's annual Bayfront Country Jam over the holiday weekend and they absolutely killed it! They took the stage on Friday (July 2nd) right before headliner Aaron Tippin.

They sang their big hits like "If I Didn't Have You" and "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" among others. The crowd sang along as the country stars alternated between high energy hits and slower songs.

It looks like they had just as much fun as us because they gave Duluth a nice shout out on social media after the show!

The duo shared a photo, not of them on stage rocking out, but their instruments and equipment needed for the show, along with a simple caption. They shared it on their official Instagram account right after their set.

After not seeing any concerts for over a year, the caption and the photo really say it all. A picture really is worth a thousand words.

The two look to have a busy summer post-pandemic. They are scheduled to go all over the country taking the stage once again from Missouri to Oregon to Wyoming!

Not only are they performing all over the place, but it looks like they are also releasing new music soon. The duo shared a photo with the hashtag "new music" on social media, which speaks for itself.

We can't wait to see what they are working on. I hope they come back to Duluth soon because they were awesome!

Now it is time to gear up for the rest of the concerts we have coming up in the near future. We keep track of them all, in the Twin Ports and beyond, with our concert calendar.
