According to the report, cops were called to respond to reports of gunfire in Albuquerque New Mexico around 1 in the morning. When the cops arrived on the scene, they found John Jones in a parked car with the engine running.

TMZ is reporting that Jones denied firing a gun.

Police smelled alcohol and conducted a field sobriety test. Jones failed a breathalyzer twice, both times registering over the legal limit.

TMZ is reporting that the cops searched his car and they found a black handgun and a half empty bottle of tequila.

He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, negligent use of a deadly weapon, and possession of an open container.

Jones, 32, was born in Rochester New York and attended Union-Endicott High School where he was a state champion wrestler and he played football for the Tigers as well.

It is not the first time Jones has been in trouble with the law. In 2015 he was involved in a hit-and-run incident in Albuquerque New Mexico, and in 2019 he faced a battery charge for an alleged incident involving a cocktail waitress and Albuquerque.
