I have always thought how nice it could be writing music for a living, but one thing stands in my way....a master of prose I am not, as you can probably tell sometimes reading my daily posts here.  The art of writing good lyrics has intrigued me over the many years I have been "spinning" tunes, so this week I decided to listen a little more closely to the music I was playing during the morning show, and came up with my 5 best lines in songs played this week on Big Kat.  Here we go.....(Oh, and watching this video, easy to see why Carrie Underwood was our "Crush of The Day").

Good Girl-Carrie Underwood..."His lips are dripping honey, but he stings like a bee."

Goodbye Earl-Dixie Chicks..."Turned out he was a missing person that nobody missed at all."

Men-Forester Sisters...."You can't beat 'em up cause they're bigger than you, you can't live with 'em and you just can't shoot 'em, men."

5-1-5-0-Dierks Bentley..."It's like a got a first class seat up on Ozzy's train, you drive me insane."

Better Than I Used To Be-Tim McGraw..."I can finally stand the man in the mirror I see, I ain't as good as I'm gonna get, but I'm better than I used to be."

Ah, nothing better than lyrics in a country song.  Have some of your own? Let us know your favorites.
