Tremendous Opportunity For First Time Home Buyers in Norwich

Wayne Viera, Executive Director of Opportunities for Chenango, and Michelle Clark, Manager of the First Time Home Buyers Program joined us in the Big Kat studios to tell us about a great program made possible in part by NBT Bank. NBT has committed one million dollars to provide first mortgages to qualified first time home buyers in the City of Norwich.

Viera and Clark explained that as a chartered member of NeighborWorks America, Opportunities for Chenango's Quaranta Housing Services division is committed to providing grants to eligible home buyers in the City of Norwich. These funds can be used for down payment and closing cost assistance.
