....Blackhawk?  Every once in a while, BlackHawk makes an appearance on the Big Kat morning show, and I always include them in the "what ever happened to" category.  I finally found out, and I have no excuse for what took me so long.  You see, I am a huge southern rock guy, having seen Molly Hatchett, Lynard Skynard,  and 38 Special numerous times in concert.  I have also seen The Outlaws more than once.  (including once in a field behind the now closed Nardi's in Hamilton)

My love of the Outlaws is why I should have known long before now what happened to Blackhawk. You see, a founding member of Blackhawk was Henry Paul, who happened to be the lead singer for the Outlaws on  most of their 70's and 80's hits.  I read an interview with Paul, and it seems that a couple of years ago, he decided to reform the Outlaws for an album and tour.  I saw Blackhawk at Frogfest years ago, but I can't wait to hear Henry going back to his southern rock roots.  Oh, by the way, Henry still performs with Blackhawk.
