Gone West may be a relatively new quartet in the country scene, but bandmates Colbie Caillat, Justin Young, Nelly Joy and Jason Reeves have history -- both with each other and in Nashville. Already a music industry mainstay known for effervescent pop hits including "Bubbly" and "Realize," Caillat partnered with Young (her fiancé) and longtime pals Joy and Reeves (a married couple) to form the new group.

Though Caillat's is the most recognizable name in the band, all four members of Gone West have musical pedigrees. In fact, Joy and Reeves met in a Music City writer's room. As a songwriter, Joy has had songs cut by Big & Rich and others, while Reeves has written for Lanco, Kenny Rogers and more. Young, meanwhile, has had a long career as a Hawaiian singer-songwriter, and even opened for Cassadee Pope on her first solo tour in 2012.
