The Pumpkin Festival committee decided to change the dates of this year's event.  They are hoping that more families can attend that usually can't make it because of youth sporting events, and they hope that by having it earlier in the month there is a better chance for nice fall weather.

Committee members Marilyn Oliver and Debbie Bowers joined us in the studio Friday to give us a preview on the events coming up on October 12th and 13th, including lots of entertainment on the stage in East Park.

Among the entertainment scheduled on Friday, Fritz's Polka Band, Shannon Stark and Jason Wicks.  There is a full slate Saturday as well including a karaoke contest, Irish Dancers, Kaitlyn Jackson,  The Donna Frech Dancers, The Woodshed Prophets and the Beadle Brothers.  The weekend culminates with a fireworks display.

For a full schedule of events head to the Pumpkin Festival website.
