Country Artists

In addition to the incredible line up at the Taste of Country Music Festival June 13-15 at Hunter Mountain, area music fans will have more opportunities to see national recording artists in concert.  Terry Potter from Millenia Entertainment joined us in studio Friday to tell us about a couple of great shows coming up and made an announcement concerning the Chenango County Fair...

Today, our on-air poll featured yet another Taste of Country Festival performer, Craig Campbell.  Campbell, who has toured as a member of Tracy Byrd's band, will release his new album, "Never Regret" on May 7th, the same release date for the new Lady A and Pistol Annies albums...

Rachel Farley was recently added to the awesome line up of performers for the Taste of Country Music Festival and admittedly I was not familiar with her at all.  It was time to get educated, and wow, I was not disappointed. I could not believe that I was listening to a 17 year old...

One thing I like about this time of year in addition to baseball season kicking off, is that artists and venues are beginning to announce summer concert dates, and the most recent is Keith Urban whose 45 date "Light The Fuse" tour gets underway in July...

Need something to do Saturday, March 16th?  Why not celebrate St. Patrick's day a little early at the Norwich Elks Lodge.  The Beadle Brothers will be playing at the lodge from 9P-1A, and there will be no cover charge.  In addition to great music from Norwich's own National recording artists, there will also be a Casino night at the lodge...

Today, Sarge and I asked you to pick your favorite Justin Moore tune, and the winner by a long shot was my favorite, "Bait A Hook." A close second was another great song, "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away." Moore, of course is one of the awesome performers who will be on stage at the Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain June 13-15...

This week our on-air poll was looking for your favorite "Blackberry Smoke" tune.  They, of course, will be at the Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain in June.  As I said in an earlier post, I hadn't heard much of these guys before they were announced as part of the festival, but after listening to some of their stuff, I can't wait to see them...

TOC Festival performer Trace Adkins takes another shot at Celebrity Apprentice beginning this Sunday, March 3rd. Trace finished second to Piers Morgan his first time around and now will compete in the 'All Star" edition. Adkins will be competing for the American Red Cross this time around...
