Hospice of Chenango County

A couple of events in Chenango County coming up this month that might be of interest to you.  First, Hospice of Chenango County will present the first monthly talk in a year long series to assist those who have lost a loved one.  The talks are scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of each month, and the first will be January 17th at 1:30 in the offices of the Chenango Health Network in the Eaton Center..

Each fall, Hospice of Chenango County honors community, clinical, and Hospice families as their "Heroes of the Year", and this year Jim Sargent is being honored as one of those heroes. Hospice staff, volunteers, board members and community supporters will be at the dinner Thursday evening at the Canasawacta Country Club when Sarge accepts this recognition...

This Saturday, Sept. 29th, 6 On The Square in Oxford welcomes back Sloan Wainwright for a benefit concert for Hospice of Chenango County. She is known for her powerful voice, intensely personal lyrics and innovative approach to music. The 7th Annual Mary Jane Prindle Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Blue Stone Golf Course in Oxford on August 17th. The format is Captain and crew and the cost is 300 dollars per team. That includes golf, carts, prizes and dinner, and proceeds will go to Hospice of Chenango County...

The first annual "We Honor Veterans" motorcycle ride to benefit Hospice of Chenango County is scheduled for August 11. Spearheaded by members of The American Legion Post 189 of Norwich and the American Legion Riders, the event is open to any rider for a fee of 10 dollars...
