According to the Northeast Regional Climate Center at Cornell University, while warmer temperatures are in the forecast, colder than normal temps will continue through April. Climatologist Jessica Spaccio says that while we might reach 60 degrees for the first time this year, she's not too sure if it's here to stay.

In a press release, Spaccio says "while we are seeing some nice temperatures in the immediate forecast, the 8 to 14 day outlook is showing all of New York in below normal temperatures, and the April outlook also shows temps below normal."

She added that "the good news is that 'normal' is warming as we get further into spring, so by the end of the month a below normal day could still be in the 50's."   Yay.
