Americana-Folk Singer at 6OTS

This Saturday, January 12th, 6 On The Square in Oxford will present singer songwriter Bob Franke.  Many of his songs are considered folk classics, fueled by his deep faith and the real life lessons he has learned over his 40 years of playing everywhere from concert halls to street corners.

Franke began his career in 1965, honing his skills as a street performer in Boston, and is still considered one of the most prolific and important folk songwriters since the commercial revival of the '60's.

During his career, he has recorded 4 albums, and has performed at the Kennedy Center as well as venues in 33 states, Canada, England and Russia.
