Dark, Shadowy, Memories

Dark Shadows is here. Admittedly, I'm not much of a movie-goer, preferring to wait for the DVD, but I will be in the theater this week.  I remember the bell ringing at C.P. Smith Elementary in Burlington, VT. and 5 or 6 of us jumping on our bikes pedaling as fast as we could to get to my house to watch the next episode with Barnabas and the rest of the Collins clan.  The movie is obviously based on the campy soap opera that ran from 1966-71, and with Johnny Depp taking over the role the late Jonathan Frid played so creepily, I'm expecting good stuff!  If you aren't familiar with the original, check out this article I found on The Daily Beast, "Dark Shadows For Dummies."
