Dinner and a Parking Ban in Chenango County

Hospice of Chenango County will be holding their annual dinner this coming Thursday, November 7th. There will also be an auction. The event takes place at Canasawacta Country Club in Norwich, with a social hour at 6 and dinner and the program beginning at 7.  Tickets are 40 dollars per person and are available by calling 334-3556.

Also, another reminder for City of Norwich residents about the winter parking ban that went into effect November 1st.  On my walk in to the station this morning, noticed several vehicles on the street.  City Police are forgiving on the first night and warnings were put on windshields.  That will change!

Remember, from now through April 15th, no vehicle can be parked on city streets between 2 am and 6 am.  This is in effect whether it snows or not.
