Early Exit for Dustin Pedroia Last Night

No one can be upset about Dustin Pedroia's early exit from a close game last night with the Yankees.  His wife, in the stands at Fenway Park, went into labor.  Manager Bobby Valentine came onto the field to tell him, and Pedroia made a quick beeline for the dugout.

Nice when you get to witness that these athletes, who often appear larger than life,  are just like you and me, with a real life off the playing field. (They can buy a lot more toys, though).  This was the scene last night.
