Great Weather, Great Turnout For Day 1 of the Chenango County Fair

The Chenango County Fair got off to a great start Tuesday. Thousands took advantage of free admission courtesy of NBT Bank, and many enjoyed the annual 4-H and Fireperson's Parade.

In addition to the parade, the entertainment tent was full as the Chenango Blues Association's Summer Concert Series came to a rousing end with Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience.

Wednesday is Children's Day, with kids under 12 admitted free until 5 PM. The Children's Day  Bicycle Drawing is in the entertainment tent at 5 PM.

In the grandstand tonight is a local favorite, the original Monarchs along with Greg Allan's Garth Brooks Tribute
