Downtown Norwich was bustling all weekend with sales and music.  I saw many people taking advantage of local merchants sales and various informational booths and kiosks during sidewalk sale days, and by all accounts, the cruise-in Friday was a huge success.

The weekend was capped off with a tremendous day in East Park as the Chenango Blue Association presented the first annual Chenango Summer Jam.  From the opening band, Woodshed Prophets right to the end with Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, the atmosphere was very relaxed and festive.

Also performing was "Isto" who by the way is a local guy, even though it was never mentioned on stage.  He is from Hamilton, a graduate of Hamilton Central School and son of former Colgate University assistant athletic director Frank White.  If you missed him doing it live, listen to his "Banana Song," which has almost a million hits since being posted a few years ago. By the way, his brother Tyler, also in the video, was in attendance at Summer Jam, too.
